Data collected
Through the “Request information” form on the website we collect the data voluntarily provided by the user: name, company, business sector, phone number, email and preferred time slot for the appointment.
This website does not use tracking, profiling or third-party cookies: for details on the technical cookies used, see the Cookie Policy.
Purpose and legal basis
The data is processed for the following purposes:
- to respond to the request for information and organise the requested appointment or demo, on the basis of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR);
- to fulfil any contractual, tax and accounting obligations arising from an established business relationship, on the basis of contract performance and legal obligations (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR).
Providing the data is optional but necessary to be able to respond to the request: without it, we will not be able to get back to the data subject.
Processing methods and recipients
The data is processed using IT tools and appropriate security measures by Medioest Srl personnel authorised to process it. It may be shared with providers of services instrumental to the company’s activity (e.g. website hosting, email management, business management software), appointed as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR. The data is not transferred outside the European Union and is not disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.
Retention
Data collected through the contact form is retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and, if a business relationship is established, for the period required by tax and civil law. After these periods, the data is deleted or anonymised.
Data subject rights
As a data subject, you have the right to ask Medioest Srl, where applicable, for access to your personal data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing (Articles 15-22 GDPR). You can exercise these rights by writing to info@medioest.com or via certified email to medioest@pec.it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) if you believe the processing of your data breaches applicable law.
